ENTRIES are welcome for the Mileta Spen 10K race, which this year incorporates the Yorkshire Veterans' 10K Championships.
The race, on Sunday September 14, starts at 11am and sees runners travel through Cleckheaton and up to Scholes and down Halifax Road before finishing at Princess Mary Playing Fields.
The race has been running for more than 40 years although it was run over 10 miles for the majority of that time. It still receives support from Heckmondwike sports firm Mileta.
Entry forms are available from the reception at the Batley News, Dewsbury Reporter, Spenborough Guardian and Morley Observer.
