Hanging Heaton recovered from a terrible start last Saturday to gain a comfortable 141-run home win over Esholt in Bradford League Division One.
After being reduced to 52-5, James Stansfield (87) and Alan Mynett (44) shared a stand of 109 to help Heaton close on 196-7.
Early strikes by Nick Summerscales (3-18) were followed by Imran Arif who took charge with 6-27 in nine overs before Chris Schofield claimed the final wicket to see Esholt 55 all out.
n Heckmondwike & Carlinghow A gained a 40-run victory over Nuffield Hospital in Huddersfield Central League Section A.
M Crowther (41) led the way as the visitors made 144-9 before dismissing Nuffield for 104 with D Pickett (3-18) and Jonathan Elstub (3-34) impressing.
Nortonthorpe A (118-7) recorded an emphatic 75-run victory over Crossbank Meths A (43).
There was better news for Crossbank Meths B in Section D as they defeated Higham B (123-7) by six wickets as G Hallas smashed 99 not out.
n All last Sunday's matches in the Dewsbury District League were abandoned due to waterlogged pitches. All sides receive two points.
