BATLEY Boys try for the third successive weekend to meet local rivals Ossett Trinity in Yorkshire League competition but this time there is a change.
The sides were unable to meet at Halifax Road in the Senior Cup two weeks ago and in the First Division last Saturday. The change this weekend is that the league fixture is at Ossett’s Church Street ground with a 2.30pm start.

Birstall Victoria go up against one of the big guns in the BARLA National Cup with a third round trip to Siddal (2pm).

The home side are second in the Conference Premier Division so this is by far the Vic’s biggest challenge of the season and a win would be a major upset.

Shaw Cross A are Yorkshire League Division Three action with a tough trip to unbeaten leaders East Leeds A.
