Littletown returned to the top of the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division thanks to a 2-0 win over Huddersfield YMCA last Saturday.

Littletown had beaten YMCA in the league cup the previous week and completed a quickfire double over their title rivals with a goal in each half from Joe Jagger and George Porter.

Lower Hopton produced one of their best displays of the season as they defeated high flying Salts 5-0.

Hopton led 2-0 at half-time and added a further three without reply after the break, while a miserable afternoon for Salts was completed as they had Nathan Hartley sent off.

Nathan James bagged a hat-trick and Matthew Bugg a brace as Hopton claimed only their second win of the season.

Nicky Croisdale netted for Overthorpe Sports but they slipped to a 4-1 defeat at home to Newsome and are bottom of the Premier Division table.

Hunsworth suffered a ninth defeat of the season and are four points adrift at the foot of Division One as they went down 10-2 away to West Horton, with Jamie Jude scoring one of their consolation goals.

Wyke Wanderers moved up to second place in the West Yorkshire League Division One after Matt Conway and Karl Fawcett scored in a 2-1 win at Leeds Modernians, who replied through Danny Claxton.
