11 wins on trot for mighty Moor

DEWSBURY MOOR

THE Under-14s made it 11 successive wins with a 52-0 victory against Second Division Normanton Knights in the quarter-final of the Yorkshire League Cup.

Moor were on top from start to finish with outstanding defence meaning Normanton rarely got into Dewsbury’s half.

At the other end tries came thick and fast with three from George Croisdale, Jordan Pearson (two) and one each for Nathan Lowther, Brad Foster, Jacob Flathers, Kyle Goodhind and Jon Kershaw with Flathers kicking six goals.

This was another top team performance from Moor on the back of excellent coaching from Allan Samme and Chris Mortimer.

MoM for Moor was Croisdale followed by Lowther and Kershaw. Moor face Castleford Lock Lane in the semi-final of the competition and visit Wigan St Patricks on Sunday in the National Cup quarter-final, while awaiting a date for the BARLA Yorkshire Cup Final .
