Batley boost bar facilities

BATLEY Bulldogs are adding to the popular facilities at the rear of their main stand.

The Bulldogs have started work on extending the Bulldogs’ Bar. This will give a larger eating area for players after matches and there will be a small extension to the bar for supporters during inclement weather.

The area behind the Glen Tomlinson Stand has proved hugely popular to home and away supporters and is a great meeting area.

Chairman Kevin Nicholas and fellow director Andy Winner felt the improved area was necessary and Mr Winner will be doing the plastering. Although the weather has caused some delay, it is hoped that the extension will be ready in time for the Northern Rail Cup game against Widnes on Sunday, February 7.
