Birstall Victoria seek players for girls team

Birstall Victoria will be holding their first training session for a new girls Under-12s team this Sunday between 11am and noon at White Lee School playing fields.

The club currently have two girls in the Under-11s – Millie Taylor and Casey Rhodes – who have both been at the club from seven-years-old but they will not be allowed to play in that team after this season (September).

The club are searching for girls in school years six and seven to help form a new team.

Even those with no experience of playing will be made more than welcome.

Coaching will be provided by a female level one coach, who is first aid trained and a male level two coach who is also a qualified level three youth worker.

Players will need warm clothes and a pair of football boots for the session.
