FC Woodman move level as leaders slip up
HEAVY Woollen Gate League Division Two leaders Hightown Liberal Club had Joe Green (two) and Bobby Evans on target, but still lost 4-3 to New Inn Staincliffe.
FC Woodman moved level on points at the top following their 6-0 win over Railway East Ardsley thanks to James Keen’s hat-trick, a brace from Craig Fryer and Richard Llewellyn.
AFC Chickenley are fifth after maintaining their 100 per cent record with a 4-3 win at Battyeford Reserves, who had Joe Green (two) and Bobby Evans on the scoresheet.
Paul Moorehouse bagged a hat- trick as Millbidge WMC earned a 4-4 draw with Marsh. Matthew Taylor hit the other, with Matthew Brackenbury (brace), Tom Collins and Ross Palfreman replying for Marsh.
Gomersal narrowly beat lowly Ravensthorpe Hotel 5-4 as Andy Kay and Kieran Armitage scored two apiece, with Adam Greenwood also on target.
Kieran Corley (hat-trick) and John Brearley replied.
Dewsbury Rangers’ game with Heckmondwike SC was a victim of the weather.
