Jackson fires hat-trick in Batley U14s cup win

Batley Juniors FC Under-14s triumphed 9-0 at home to Westend Tigers in the first round of the Huddersfield League Cup.

A fine effort saw Batley lead 5-0 at half-time while after the break Batley slowed down and allowed Westend Tigers to attack but a resilient performance from the back four and the goalkeeper kept them at bay.

Thomas Jackson led the Batley scoring with a hat-trick while the other goalscorers were Callum Render (two), Cameron Timberley, Alex Parsons (two) and Joshua Ward.
