Quartet race in Pocklington
FOUR Dewsbury Road Runners took part in the Pocklington Snake Lane 10 mile race last weekend.
Their results were: 45th John Calvert 62-05; 88th Treena Johnson 65-46 and second female over 45; 158th Flora Skidmore 70-09 and first female over 50; 270th Fiona Sutcliffe 76-25. A total of 666 runners finished the race.
n In the Ilkley Moor Regional Orienteering Event Michael Wood finished 16th of 70 on the Short Blue course of 5.025km, 195 metre climb and 11 controls in 60minutes 44seconds, he was second of 13 in the over 65s.
