Rugby clubmark

BATLEY Boys and Dewsbury Celtic joined Newsome Panthers and Emley Moor in receiving Clubmark certificates before the Huddersfield Giants game against St Helens.

Dewsbury Celtic and Newsome were presented with the highest tier of the award, Clubmark Gold. Batley Boys and Emley Moor were presented with the entry level Clubmark award.

Sport England set out criteria to encourage clubs to create safe, effective and child friendly environments.

Gaining the Clubmark marks them out as ‘A Quality Assured Rugby League Club’.

Over 100 RL clubs across the country now have Clubmark status and 200 more clubs are registered on the scheme.
