Sheridan selected for Ireland A

Birstall Victoria player coach Brendan Sheridan has been selected in the Ireland A team squad to play against Fiji at Rochdale Hornets on March 17.

Brendan will join the Ireland squad for training at Dublin in the run up to the game.

Birstall Vic have started pre-season training ahead of their Yorkshire Men’s League campaign, which begins on Saturday May 4 at home to Moldgreen.

The Vic train on Wednesdays between 7.30 to 8.30pm at Spenborough Athletics Track.

Birstall will play in the same group as Thornhill Trojans, who have also entered a summer side this season.
