Town slip again

HUDDERSFIELD Town will aim to halt the slide of three successive Npower Division One defeats when they entertain Scunthorpe at the Galpharm on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

Town slipped to fifth-place following a 1-0 defeat at Preston last Saturday when Mayor beat the defence for pace and Chris Robertson fired home past Ian Bennett who replaced the injured Alex Smithies in goal.

It was Town’s fourth defeat in five games and the grumbling among Town fans is getting louder. The latest defeat saw poor service to top striker Jordan Rhodes, in midfield there was very little creativity which also put pressure on the defence.
