Nostalgia: Sun reduced shoeshines for Spen Cubs and Scouts
A shoeshine in the sunshine helped the 11th Spen Valley (Hunsworth) Cubs and Scouts raise £28 for group funds.
They were also trying to get into the Guinness Book of Records for a shoeshining record, but Scout leader David Bentley said: “Everyone was wearing sandals, so the demand for shoe cleaning was a bit low!”
