KBW boxer Jerry Price travelled to Ireland representing the Yorkshire Division of England Boxing in the Yorkshire v Dublin boxing tournament.
Price was up against local favourite Sean Roach in the 46 kg category and although the KBW man hadn’t boxed for a few months, he had prepared for the bout well and began aggressively from the first bell.
Price forced his opponent onto the back foot and delivered some neat combinations while avoiding his opponents attempts to rally.
Priced boxed cleverly and secured are unanimous points decision win as he helped the Yorkshire team defeat Dublin 16-3.
It proved a great experience for the young boxers to fight away and a great way to start the new boxing season.
KBW are expecting another sell out crowd for the latest instalment of their popular shows, which takes place at the Orchid banqueting suite, in Dewsbury, on October 15.
The last time KBW held a show at the venue, it was attended by around 900 people when former light-welterweight World Champion Amir Khan attended to hand out trophies.
