Thackeray hat-trick inspires Dewsbury Rams in play-offs
Anthony Thackeray bagged a hat-trick as Dewsbury routed Workington 50-6 in Sunday’s Kingstone Press Championship elimination play-off.
Other tries came from Scott Hale, Makali Aizue, Ben Hellewell, Ryan Hepworth and Tommy Gallagher while Jack Murphy scored Workington’s consolation try on 63 minutes.
The Rams’ play-off charge continues next weekend with a trip to Halifax.
