The Batley Independent Supporters Squadbuilder Association (BISSA) held their annual dinner at Blenheim House, Batley, last Friday.

The event has become popular in Bulldogs supporters’ calendars and both the venue and catering were first class.

Former Great Britain player and coach Brian Noble was guest speaker, giving an insight into his playing days and tours, before holding a question and answer session with fans.

Bulldogs coach Danny Maun and director John Miller had also worked hard to make the evning a success.

Maun attracted donations from several players, including former Batley and current St Helens star Alex Walmsley , to put towards an auction.

Profits raised from the evening will be used to provide financial support to the club for player recruitment, something which has proved invaluable so far in 2016 with the signings of Pat Walker, Dominic Brambani, and re-signings of James Brown and Alex Rowe.

The association thank their members for continuous support to the club.
