16-year-old boy robbed on Spen Valley Greenway

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was robbed on the Spen Valley Greenway last night (Thursday).

The incident happened at around 5.10pm when the boy was cycling on the greenway near Heckmondwike.

The suspect pushed the boy off his bike, a white and orange Whistle Mountain Bike, before stealing it.

The man, who was carrying a black rucksack at the time, is described as 30 to 40 years old, around 5’7”, skinny build with stubble on his face.
