1D’s Zayn Malik goes shopping in Mirfield

A menswear shop in Mirfield had an unexpected customer yesterday as a member of the world’s most popular pop group paid a visit.

Zayn Malik from chart-topping boyband One Direction went clothes-shopping in Stone Menswear, in Huddersfield Road, yesterday afternoon (Monday).

A spokesman for the shop said: “He was just a nice normal lad who came in with a couple of mates and bought some clothes. I can’t really say anything more than that.”

One Direction hit chart stardom in both the UK and the States with hits such as What Makes You Beautiful and Little Things. The group has sold 11 million albums worldwide. Zayn is originally from Bradford.
