Photographer Abigail Holt, stylist Nina Beresford and make-up artist Jody Holliday decided the Batley museum was the perfect location to hold a fashion shoot to best show off their skills.

The trio set up in the old billiard room at the house in Wilton Park and worked their magic on model Ellie Davies.

Staff at the museum were so impressed with the way Abigail captured the room they have asked for copies of the shoot and may put them on display in the future.

Abigail, 21, said: "The whole morning went really well and the staff were brilliant.

"I would definitely want to do more work in places like Bagshaw; really interesting buildings with lots of local history and heritage. It was a privilege to shoot there."

Abigail, who is studying for a degree in contemporary photographic arts at Batley School of Art and Design, said she and Nina, who is studying for a Fashion degree at the school, were working with Jody, a make-up and prosthetics student at Bradford College, on a fashion and design business.

Their venture, Douglas Designs, is aimed at new businesses and young designers interested in their group package for marketing.

Abigail said: "We are in the process of setting up a website to showcase what we do, and will be approaching local designers who may be interested in the fashion images we can provide."
