And young project volunteer Maddie Tetlow, of Liversedge, won the club’s Rotary Young Leadership Award.

The accolade is given to a 16 or 17-year-old who could benefit from leadership training with young people.

Maddie thanked the club for the award at a meeting last Wednesday.

She said the leadership course helped her make new friends and gain leadership skills.

The club also thanked people who have supported the project.
