Convicted burglar arrested in Dewsbury after public appeal

Kirklees CID had been searching for Ryan Dufton since December when he breached the terms of his licence.

A second appeal was issued for information on his whereabouts on Saturday.

And yesterday (Tuesday) morning he was found in the Dewsbury area.

Det Chief Insp Paul Jeffrey said: “Dufton was located and arrested by detectives at about 6am yesterday in the Dewsbury area and will be recalled to prison. “We would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in this matter.”
