Could you do something for our fund?

The Reporter Series Fund celebrated another milestone this week when the total collected for our chosen charities passed £2,000.

But it doesn’t mean the fundraising efforts of staff and all those supporting our charity appeal will stop here.

On Tuesday, 200 pupils from Westborough High School in Dewsbury will take hold a sponsored walk around Crow Nest Park from 1.30pm.

And on Sunday July 14, Reproter Series staff members Russ Cowling, Jamie Presland and Georgina Morris will join thousands of runners taking part in Leeds 10k.

Editor Hannah Ridgeway said: “We’re really thrilled with the amount raised so far by our charity appeal – and with the support so many people have shown us.

“If any readers want to show their support for our four charities, there’s still six months left to hold an event or sponsor staff who are taking on fundraising challenges.”
