European arrest warrant have been issued for nine people who are trying to escape justice by hiding in West Yorkshire.
Police are hunting seven Eastern European men, one Eastern European woman and one British man who has links to Pakistan.
They are wanted on bench warrants issued by the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
And it is thought most of them have fled to West Yorkshire.
Sup Int Pat Casserly said: “We are doing everything in our power to bring these people before the justice system, investing a great deal of resources to protect the communities we serve from threat. We are proud that we have one of the highest arrest figures for European Arrest Warrants.
“Some of these people have already been found guilty or convicted of serious crimes in their native country - they have not come to West Yorkshire to reform or rehabilitate rather to hide from justice. I am appealing directly to anyone who knows where any of these people are to contact police.”
