Finlay Holmes is putting the finishing touches to his bid to become a national dance sensation.
The Heckmondwike youngster is poised to perform at the Teenstar Grand Final in St Albans on July 29.
The event is the UK’s largest singing and dance competition, exclusively for teens and pre-teens.
Finlay, aged 10, wowed the judges at the area final in Dewsbury earlier this year with this performance.
Now the Headlands Junior School pupil is gearing up to compete against 32 others in the grand final.
Ahead of his appearance in the final, his mum Emma said: “We’re all really proud of Finlay.
“He’s looking forward to it and has been practising non-stop.”
Finlay attends the Chris and Lucy Beaumont School of Dance in Batley.
Emma says he has been working on choreogrpahing a special dance for the showpiece final.
People can help aid Finlay’s cause by placing a vote for him by texting ‘TEEN07’ to 84222.
Provided he finishes in the top three, text votes can then contribute to the judges’ scores when determining an overall winner.
