Fire crews were called to Moorside at around 1.05am, where a Land Rover Defender had set on fire.

The owner used a dry powder extinguisher to tackle the blaze and firefighters used hose reels on their arrival.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it’s thought the wiring of the vehicle could be to blame.

There were no injuries and crews left the scene at around 2.05am.
