One step Beyond into Headingley: Madness tour announced

And the chart topping band of the 80s whose hits include Baggy Trousers, Embarrassment and House of Fun, will perform at Headingley on Friday, September 18 as part of their Grandslam Tour of sports grounds.

Madness will play their hits and some new songs.

Yorkshire County Cricket Club commercial director Andy Dawson said: “This will be the first time that Headingley Cricket Ground has staged a music concert.

“We are delighted to be welcoming Madness and the Grandslam Tour to Leeds.

“We are expecting the concert to be very popular and anticipate a sell-out crowd of in excess of 14,000.”
