LETTERS: I prefer a helpful human!
Thank you for printing Malcolm Haigh’s wonderful letter about Batley Library.
I live in Dewsbury but use the libraries in Batley, Heckmondwike and sometimes Mirfield because they are staffed by helpful, human beings as opposed to the automated systems of Dewsbury and Huddersfield.
I wanted to sign Mr Haigh’s petition but Batley Library are forbidden by Kirklees from housing it on site and I could not find anywhere else with sheets.
