Pets found dead after house fire
Two pet cats died after a fire at a house in Mirfield last night.
Firefighters from Mirfield and Dewsbury were called to the fire on Jackroyd Lane, Upper Hopton, at around 9.30pm last night.
After extinguishing the fire, two cats were found dead.
The Fire Emergency Support Service was requested to attend to assist the homeowner.
