Pupils to star in iconic musical Miss Saigon

Three pupils are taking part in an iconic musical, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year.

Whitcliffe Mount School pupils Cameron Foster and Emily Wright, both 16, and 15-year-old Bethany Grange will be starring in Miss Saigon.

Based on the opera Madame Butterfly, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg’s musical tells the tragic story of an orphaned Vietnamese girl, Kim, who falls in love with an American GI named Chris.

The production will take place at Bingley Arts Centre from Wednesday July 9 to Saturday July 12.

The three pupils are members of Stage 84 School of Performing Arts and performed in last summer’s production of Les Miserables.
