Robbers flee with cash and handheld computer after threatening Dewsbury taxi driver
The driver was picking up a fare in Windsor Close at around 2.15am on Tuesday, when the two males jumped in his taxi.
They brandished a weapon, believed by the victim to be a taser, and gave him an electric shock before stealing £12 in cash and a handheld computer.

Hide AdThe suspects fled the scene on foot after grabbing the items.
Det Sgt Nigel Gittins, of Kirklees CID, said: “This was a shocking incident for the taxi driver and although he was not badly injured, he was shaken up.”
A 39-year-old man has been arrested and bailed in relation to the incident, but police are now appealing for information to find the other suspect.
