Summer camp places up for grabs

Organisers of Kirklees Summer Playcamp have announced that booking for this year's camps is now open.

Children, aged 9-12, get the opportunity to stay at Woolley Edge Scout Camp for four days and three nights, supervised by experienced volunteers.

Last year, children had the opportunity to take part in games in the woods, a pirate walk, waterslide and try their hand at archery.

The playcamp also offers subsidised places for children from low income families so no one has to miss out.
