GB Projects at The Mill in Pepper Royd Street was attended by fire crews from Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Ossett and Huddersfield at around 5.26pm.

Aerial facilities were also brought from Wakefield.

Six large jets, two hose reels, four breathing apparatuses and positive pressure ventilation was used to tackle the blaze, which affected all of the premises.

It is understood that neighbours lost power for around six hours.

The company makes ‘bespoke’ and contract furniture.
