A man suffered head injuries after falling from a tree near a cliff face in Horbury.
The ambulance service was called to the scene at 7.52pm on Monday after the man fell near Addingford Drive on Monday.
Firefighters from Ossett and Cleckheaton were also called to help with the incident at around 9.14pm.
A spokeswoman for the Yorkshire Ambulance service said the man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary after suffering head injuries in the fall.
The air ambulance and rapid response ambulance were also called to the scene.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokeswoman said specialist crews from Cleckheaton’s Technical Rescue Unit attended.
Firefighters used a two-line rescue and managed to free the man.
