A woman was threatened with a screwdriver in a robbery in Gomersal.
At 6pm on Friday November 6 a man entered a property on Thoresby Drive and threatened a woman, 40, with the weapon.
Three other suspects then entered the property taking the keys to a black Volkswagen Polo, FV06 OBW, which was subsequently stolen from the driveway.
They also made off with a large amount of cash and personal items within a black handbag.
All four suspects are believed to have made off in the vehicle.
Suspect one is described as a white male, aged approximately 19, 5”8” tall of slim build with short shaggy brown dark hair.
He was wearing a dark coloured zipped hooded jacket with the hood up and gloves.
Suspect two is described as an Asian male aged approximately 30, around 5”9” tall of medium build.
He had dark curly hair which looked long, and pulled back possibly in to a ponytail, he was wearing a small hooped earring in his right ear and was wearing a plain hooded jacket with the hood up, and tightly zipped around his face and mouth.
Suspect three is described as an Asian male, between 20-22, approximately 5”8” tall of slim build with prominent thick dark eyebrows, wearing a turquoise coloured zipped jacket with a white stripe down the arm.
Det Con Richard Brooke of the Kirklees Robbery Team said: “This incident has occurred in the early evening whilst the area will still have been relatively busy with people, although it was dark I am certain that someone will have seen the suspects prior to the incident, or leaving the scene in the black VW Polo.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around 6pm, and may have seen anyone matching the suspect’s description to come forward. Equally, if anyone saw the vehicle with four occupants after the incident and I would ask that they speak to police. Enquiries are ongoing.”
