Captain’s haul steers Mount to win

MOUNT captain Hassan Ji Patel claimed career best figures of 7-19 to guide his side to a comprehensive victory in Huddersfield Central League Section B last Saturday.

Hassan’s fine haul helped Mount dismiss Horbury for just 45 in reply to their 167-9, which had seen Imran Rawat (45) and Usama Sacha (28) impress.

Mount seconds gained their first win of the season last Saturday as 17-year-old Suleman Rawat made 79 and was well supported by Gulam Badat (28no) as they hit 167-9 against Horbury Bridge B, who were bowled out for 134 in reply with I Bikkah claiming 3-25.
