Hartshead secure crucial win in fight for promotion
Victory leaves second placed Hartshead eight points clear of Kippax with a game in hand and with seven league matches remaining, they are well placed to secure promotion to the top flight.
Howden Clough fought out a 3-3 draw against fellow mid-table side East End Park, while Wyke Wanderers went down 3-0 away to bottom side Otley Town.

Howden Clough Reserves lost 4-2 at Ilkley Town Reserves, while Hartshead Reserves lost 2-0 at Shelley Reserves in Alliance Division Two.
n Littletown’s West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division title hopes suffered a set back with a 3-1 defeat away to mid-table Salts.
George Porter’s first half goal saw Littletown level but Salts sealed victory to leave the Beck Laners five points behind leaders Golcar United but with four games in hand.

Hide AdLower Hopton’s game away to Newsome was abandoned well into the second half with the visitors leading 2-1 following Matthew Bugg’s brace.
Jack Allerton also hit a double, while Reece Patterson scored the other goal, as Overthorpe Sports earned a 3-2 win away to DRAM Community.
Second-bottom Overthorpe are now three points clear of DRAM but have played three games more.
Richard Normally struck a first half goal for Hunsworth but they lost 3-1 away to Wakefield City and remain at the foot of Division One, three points off Tyersal.

Keiran Senior (two) and Andy Brewitt scored but it wasn’t enough to prevent Littletown Reserves losing 6-3 defeat to Division Two leaders TVR United, who had Acrab Abbas (two), Asif Iqbal (two), Danayal Hussain and Faisal Shabbir on target.
