Cleckheaton secured a 44-run victory over Bradford and Bingley in the Bradford Premier League last Saturday.
Cleckheaton picked up four bonus batting points as they posted 206-8 which was built around the efforts of John Wood (38), Curtis Free (36) and Mohammad Zaman (30), while spinner Noman Ali took 4-46 for Bingley.
Free helped reduce Bingley to 12-3 on his way to figures of 4-34, while support came from Sam Wilson (3-21) as Cleckheaton bowled Bingley out for 162 despite the efforts of David Clow (45) and captain Scott Etherington (33).
Lee Goddard struck a magnificent 151 not out against his former club East Bierley, which helped New Farnley record an 81-run win.
Goddard’s innings included four sixes and 17 fours, while the next highest scorer was Rishy Limbechaya with 31 not out.
Awaise Ejaz took 3-81 for East Bierley, who were bowled out for 198. Mark Gill (32) top scored as Mohammad Bilal picked up 3-30 to seal Farnley’s win.
Farsley are just 19 points behind new leaders Hanging Heaton after aseven-wicket over Pudsey Congs.
Second-bottom Congs were skittled out for just 99, which owed much to a determined innings of 64 from Joe Greaves.
James Wainman claimed 3-28 and Adam Ahmed (3-8).
Wainman followed up his efforts with the ball by hitting 36 not out, while James Price (30) ensured Farsley wrapped up an easy victory.
Congs are now five points adrift of Morley who suffered a seven-wicket defeat at Lightcliffe.
