Kaye and Croisdale linked but the Moor stand-off was held up over the try line and a chance to level went begging.

Moor conceded an early second half penalty, which Lock Lane converted to take a crucial eight point lead which was to prove decisive.

Moor threw everything into attack with Liam Conway, Joe Longstaffe and Bownass all going close before a smart pass by Bruce allowed Jordan Foster to stride behind the posts for a try that Flathers converted.

Moor continued to press with Luke Sheridan attempting a break on the left but Lock Lane hung on to claim victory and book a Yorkshire Cup final date with West Hull at South Leeds Stadium.
