Nostalgia: Mirfield’s old bingo hall and cinema

PAST LIFE Mirfield's former cinema and bingo hall back in 1994.

A bingo hall, a cinema, a betting shop, a dental surgery and a snack bar all called this stylish building in Huddersfield Road their home.

It is now home to a sweet shop, an children’s clothes shop, a cafe and milkshake bar, and Creative Arts Hub, a community-focused arts centre which houses 17 artists’ studios and a gallery space.

The hub run a range of art and craft exhibitions, workshops and courses, catering for a wide range of ages and interests.
