Pawel wins National title

HECKMONDWIKE Cycle Speedway rider Pawel Idziorek was crowned Northern individuals Under-19s champion at Firth Park.

Home rider Darren Kent came second in the veterans, while Heckmondwike Under-10 rider William Naylor just missed out on a third place after a deciding run off.

Motorcycle speedway rider Jack Parkinson-Blackburn put in great effort for his first cycle speedway race coming fifth overall in the Under-13s section.
