Bulldogs and Rams gearing up for new season thanks to generous sponsors

Bulldogs coach Matt Diskin has hailed the club’s onsite gym, which was built thanks to sponsorship from Riva Homes and Henley Stone.

The Bulldogs gym in situated under the K2 Stand at Fox’s Biscuits Stadium and includes a wrestle area, built thanks to help from Centurian.

Powerhouse Fitness helped provide equipment for the gym in it’s first season and are again on board as they continue to improve the facility in readiness for the 2019 campaign, along with End to End gym services.

Matt Diskin is delighted with the gym as he puts the squad through their paces and said: “This facility must be one of the best on site gyms at any Rugby League ground and it is certainly paying dividends having such a gym at our club.

“It is improving our pre-season and will further help us tremendously throughout the season as we have all the equipment we need at our stadium.”

Powerhouse Fitness, who are based in Alexandra Mills in Batley, are also backing the Rams in pre-season.#

Powerhouse will supply the Rams with a full range of sports supplements and nutrition to assist with player performance, development and recovery after games.

Andrew Oldroyd, of the Powerhouse Fitness Management Team, said “This is brilliant news for the club and for us at Powerhouse Fitness to be again sponsoring the Rams for the 2019 season.
