Bulldogs fans' sponsored walk raises thousands
The group, who were accompanied by chairman Kevin Nicholas for the first day, left Leeds City Centre last Wednesday to arrive in Barrow ahead of the Betfred Championship fixture at Craven Park.
The six-strong team finished the route on Sunday morning and were given a fabulous welcome by Barrow Raiders.

Hide AdWalk organiser Nick Sowerby was overwhemled by the response they received from throughout rugby league.
He said: “At 12pm last Sunday we finally arrived at Craven Park having set off from Leeds City Centre at 7am the previous Wednesday — 105 miles in four days and what an experience.
“It is something the six of us will never forget. It was physically and mentally challenging and at times gruelling, but worth every second of it in the name of an amazing cause.
“The support we have received from the RL community along the way has been overwhelming and we are eternally grateful.”

Hide AdMr Sowerby thanked Batley Bulldogs and Barrow Raiders, who organised accommodation in Dalton on one of the nights and the kind hospitality when they arrived at the ground.
A bucket collection at Barrow boosted the total by £565 and the group have already smashed through their £4,000 target, and by yesterday had neared £5,500. People can still donate to the cause at www.justgiving.com/account/your-pages/BatleyIndependentAwayTravel.
