Batley Xplosion cheerleaders aim to conquer the best in Europe in Paris trip

The Batley Bulldogs cheerleaders will be taking on some of the best groups from across Europe when the travel to Paris next March.

Hundreds of teams across Europe will be taking part in the FC Brings It On event, to be held at Disneyland, Paris, early next year.

The Bulldogs cheerleaders, who regularly perform routines at Batley home games, will spend three days at the resort and have been fundraising to help with the cost of the trip.

Some of the girls took part in the T3 Farm Challenge, while they held a bag pack at Tesco, Batley, last weekend.

While competing against other cheerleading groups at the event, the Bulldogs team will have access to both theme parks across the three days with queue jump tickets, meet and greet with Disney characters and take part in the famous Disneyland parade.

The Batley Xplosion cheerleaders have recently moved to a new dance studio located in the Mack Glass building, Whitaker Street, Batley (WF17 5AQ) where they are in preparation for ending the season with the Bulldogs, while beginning training ahead of their Disneyland trip.

The Batley Xplosion have routines in hip hop (street dance), all star cheerleading, pom dance, stunt groups and solo performances.

The Batley Xplosion group are looking for new athletes to join them as they build towards their European trip.

Sessions are open to anyone aged six years old up to 18-plus for those interested in street dance, pom dance, cheerleading/gymnastics or stunting and further information is available by visiting www.batleyxplosion.com.

A simple e-form allows anyone interested to register for sessions, which cost £3.50 each under fully qualified, insured and DBS checked staff, friendly atmosphere and a fun environment.
