THE BATLEY Bulldogs community team are running gym based activities aimed at bringing people together to get actively fit.

The project is part of an initiative funded by The Big Lottery bid to help bring communities together, having fun and socialising, while getting physical exercise.

The gym is based at the bottom of Heritage Road, close to the Bulldogs Fox’s Biscuits Stadium, and sessions are open to all walks of the community.

Mixed sessions run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 9.45am and on Wednesday evenings (7pm and 8pm).

Ladies only sessions run on Mondays (9am to 11am), Tuesdays and Thursdays (9.45am to 10.45am) and Wednesdays (5pm to 6pm).

Sessions cost £2 each, with all monies raised going back into the community gym or other charitable work.

Further details on the gym sessions and other Bulldogs community projects are available from Jon Humpleby on 07808 055022 or Sharaz Ajmal on 07956 830684.
