Batley Bulldogs full-back Dave Scott has been included in Scotland’s 24-man squad for the Ladbrokes Four Nations.
Scott is joined by Frankie Mariano, who played four Championship games for Batley in 2016 on loan from Castleford.
Scott was named Scotland’s player of the year last year and featured in 33 games for the Bulldogs this season.
The Scotland squad will spend next week at Heriot-Watt’s state of the art Oriam Performance Centre before travelling to Barrow to play a warm-up game against a Cumbrian Select in Liam Harrison’s testimonial next Friday (October 21).
Scotland will then move to their Preston training camp where they will be based throughout the tournament.
Scotland face Australia at Hull KR’s Lightstream Stadium on Friday October 28 (8pm) and meet England at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena as part of a double header which sees Australia take on New Zealand on Saturday November 5.
Scotland’s final game of the Four Nations is against New Zealand at Workington’s Derwent Park on Friday November 11 (8pm).
