Coach John Kear has issued a rallying cry for Bulldogs supporters to get behind his team and turn up to Sunday’s derby against Halifax in big numbers.
The Bulldogs seek a third straight win against a Fax side many expect to challenge for a top-four spot when the Championship splits in July.
Kear said: “The team have demonstrated a positive attitude in our first two games and there isn’t any more they could have done.
“We are up against a team who are striving for fourth spot and, like ourselves, have also started well and are well supported.
“I would be very disappointed if there wasn’t a crowd of 1,500-plus there on Sunday.”
