Batley Bulldogs will return to training next week in preparation for their trip to Featherstone Rovers on Sunday April 29.

Batley have no fixture this week due to the Challenge Cup and the players will return to training after a few days off as they prepare to face high flying Featherstone.

Rovers have won nine out of their opening 11 Championship matches and lie second in the table, just a point behind Toronto Wolfpack.

They were made to work hard for a 38-26 victory away to Barrow last week, while they defeated the Bulldogs 40-14 at Mount Pleasant on March 25.

The Bulldogs Supporters Club have announced details for trips to Batley’s next three away games, sponsored by Station Coaches.

The coach to Featherstone costs £10 adults and £7.50 for juniors and departs the club at 1pm, Branch Road, Batley, at 1.10pm and Birstall Library at 1.20pm.

The coach to Barrow on Sunday May 6 costs £15 adults, £10 juniors and departs Mount Pleasant (10am), Branch Road (10.10am) and Birstall Library (10.20am).

The Supporters Club are also running a coach to the Summer Bash in Blackpool on Sunday May 27, when Batley take on Dewsbury Rams, kick off 5.30pm.

The cost is £15 adults, £10 juniors and leaves the Bulldogs at 9am, Branch Road at 9.10am and Birstall Library at 9.20am.
