Sharks back in training

Shaw Cross Sharks got their pre-season underway on Tuesday night, with the squad working towards a first season of summer rugby league in the National Conference League and the Yorkshire Mens League.

Several players have been putting the extra hard work in at the gym twice a week since November however this week the real pre-season programme began.

Under the watchful eye of player-strength and conditioning coach David Hudson, first team coaches Andy Parkinson and Brett Turner and reserve team coaches Daz Bastow and John Lumb, the lads were put through their paces. Parkinson said: “The boys worked hard and that is going to be the theme of our pre-season but they seem to love it.”
