Richardson was up against David Amos (Pool), Andrew Brewster (Acomb) and James Garding (Stokesley) but he blew the opposition away recording a terrific top speed delivery of 81mph.

Amos (78mph), Brewster (79mph) and Harding (79mph) recorded impressive speeds but Richardson’s first delivery saw him clock 80mph.

Richardson twice clocked a BLK Top Gun record for an outdoor delivery with 81mph.

England bowling coach Otis Gibson was on hand to present a delighted Richardson with his trophy.
